Feb. 14, 2020, GLENPOOL, Okla., – City officials in Glenpool today announced something new to love about this fast-growing Tulsa suburb – it will soon be the home of a new Chick-fil-A restaurant.

“Our citizens have asked for Chick-fil-A for years, and we are thrilled to announce that they are officially coming to Glenpool,” David Tillotson, Glenpool City Manager, said. The restaurant will be located in the Southwest Crossroads development, west of Highway 75 off 121st Street South. That 140+ acre development is home to numerous other retailers and restaurants and is the “front gate” to Glenpool for drivers traveling south on Highway 75.

“While we are still early in the process, Chick-fil-A is happy to share that we have chosen our first location in the Glenpool area. We look forward to working through the approval process with the city and are excited by the prospect of joining this growing community,” officials with Chick-fil-A, Inc. said.

Several active commercial and residential developments are visible throughout Glenpool, and Tillotson believes this latest national restaurant addition will continue the city’s growth momentum. “From 121st all the way to 181st we’ve seen an increase in commercial and residential activity. Announcements like this will spur further interest from other highly sought-after brands and that will help Glenpool better serve the desires of residents and visitors alike,” Tillotson said.

Chick-fil-A has not announced an opening date, but the company indicated they intend to move quickly to begin construction. “We eagerly anticipate the opportunity we will have to serve new guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality,” officials said.
