Paul accepted the position of Fire Chief in August 2005. Prior to his appointment in Glenpool, he served as the Fire Chief in Cherryvale, Kansas. He has studied at the National Fire Academy, University of Kansas, Independence Community College and Oklahoma State University. Chief Newton is enthusiastic about the current growth of the community and the support the agency has received from the citizens of Glenpool.
