The City of Glenpool Strategic Plan represents the next chapter in our community’s growth and long-term vision. It serves as a roadmap for decision-making, resource allocation, and service delivery ensuring that city operations align with the values, priorities, and goals of our residents.
Developed through collaboration among City Council, staff, residents, and business owners, this plan reflects the shared vision of our community. Through a comprehensive community survey, data review, and an assessment of Glenpool’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges, City Council identified clear strategic priorities. City staff then developed focused action plans to guide implementation over the next five years.
The Strategic Plan is designed to communicate the City’s long-term vision, guide both short-term and long-term initiatives, and set direction for annual budgeting decisions. It ensures that we remain intentional, transparent, and accountable as we continue moving Glenpool forward.
The four strategic priorities identified for the City are:
Streets & Infrastructure – Improving street, stormwater, and sewer infrastructure to support growth and safety.Culture & Entertainment – Expanding shopping, dining, parks, and recreation opportunities to enhance quality of life.Economic Development – Encouraging responsible economic and housing growth to strengthen the local economy.Public Safety – Enhancing public safety through staffing, funding, equipment, and transportation safety improvements.

The Glenpool Farmers Market is one of our favorite seasonal traditions bringing together local farmers, food producers, artisans, and neighbors every Saturday morning in Black Gold Park. Fresh, local, and community-focused, the market offers residents the opportunity to shop for fresh produce, homemade goods, local honey, baked treats, handcrafted items, and more while supporting Oklahoma-based vendors.
The 2026 season runs Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., May 9 through October 10 (closed August 29 for Black Gold Days and during inclement weather). The market is located in the field north of the splash pad at Black Gold Park in Glenpool.
Vendors participate in a variety of categories including produce, prepared foods (both commercial kitchen and homemade goods), artisan products made in Oklahoma, and service or educational booths that enhance the market experience. The Glenpool Farmers Market operates in compliance with the Oklahoma Farmers Market and Farmers Hub Act and is an equal opportunity provider. We strive to maintain a balanced, diverse mix of products while prioritizing local producers.
The market proudly participates in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program), and DUO (Double Up Oklahoma), helping ensure fresh, healthy food remains accessible to all members of our community.
Vendor spaces are available for full-season or weekly participation. Booth fees are $10 per weekend or $180 for the full 2026 season, with full-season vendors receiving reserved booth placement. All vendors are responsible for obtaining required permits and licenses and must comply with Tulsa Health Department and Oklahoma Department of Agriculture regulations.
Before applying, vendors should carefully review the Rules & Regulations and submit a completed application with all required documentation to the Market Coordinator.
